A Little Bit About Me

I am at a place in my life that I’m trying to make a difference not only in my life but in the lives of others. I am the mentor coordinator of a mentoring ministry here at the prison called Torch–in short I am the mentors mentor. I teach older men, on how to help youger men so that they may go home and be an asset to their community.

While in prison, I’ve also received degrees in both paralegal studies and criminal law and I help men where I can.

I also enjoy playing praise & worship music on my violin in my private time with God.

My passion is Social & Restorative Justice. My goal is to publish a book in the near future about Social & Restorative Justice-from an inmates perspective. My hope is that it will help others understand why I think convicts re-offend upon their release, and prayerfully help stop it.

I just want to leave this world better than it was when it was handed to me, if you are like minded and would like to converse I’d love to hear from you.

Peace,

J.
